Get in loser, we’re going to go to the “Mean Girls Experience”! For fans of the 2004 original film, besides the upcoming musical film revival set to release in 2024 — there is something else coming. The popular media experience brand, Bucket Listers has recently announced the news of the creation of a “Mean Girls Experience.” Set to debut in 2024, the film’s universe will be brought to life with pop-up events in New York City and Los Angeles. About The Mean Girls Experience
As an homage to the original and new films, Bucket Listers will be giving fans the chance “to experience North Shore High School like never before.” Previously, the media experience brand brought other pop-ups to life such as the Malibu Barbie Cafe and Golden Girls Kitchen.
This new pop-up will be opening its doors on January 12th in Los Angeles. Then, it will open shop on January 19th in New York City. With these different dates, it will coincide with the release of Paramount Pictures’ release of the new Mean Girls musical film on January 12th.
What to Expect
Now for the best part — what will the experience be about? First of all, the pop-up will have a “fast-casual restaurant that will serve “chef-driven cafeteria-style fare.” Master Chef semi-finalist Chef Becky Brown will create a variety of dishes from food to desserts that are in fact, Mean Girls themed. Savory dishes include Burn Book Burger Sliders, the Stab Caesar Salad, and 1 3 5 Acai Bowl.
For sweet tooth enthusiasts, the dessert lineup includes the Kälteen Brownie, Rainbow + Smiles Cake, and Is Butter a Carb? Cookies, and the Fetch Strudel.
After a dining session, fans will be able to check out the Mean Girls Museum. It will feature set pieces, iconic outfits, and exclusive Mean Girls Experience merchandise to purchase. If looking to live your dream of becoming the fifth Plastics member, you’re in luck. There will be a Winter Talent Show stage photo opportunity, so be sure to wear your Regina George-approved outfit.
How to Buy Tickets
Tickets for the Mean Girls Experience will be sold exclusively on Bucket Listers. As of right now, fans can sign up to be on the waitlist to be notified of when tickets are released. The New York City waitlist can be found here and the one of Los Angeles here. Per Bucket Listers, every ticket will include a “reserved seat and a guaranteed window of time to dine, a choice of entree, a candy cane gram, and the option to order additional North Shore shareables.” For ticket pricing, fans can expect the prices to start at $35.
