Fast-chain restaurant, Chipotle announced on July 29th a new collaboration with beauty brand, Wonderskin. The brand is known for its TikTok-viral lip stain that is sold every 15 seconds due to its high demand. This caught the eye of Chipotle as they were looking for something unique to bring to the table for National Avocado Day.
Now for a limited time, Chipotle and Wonderskin came together to release ‘Lipotle’ starting on July 30th 12PM EST. This new collaboration comes a day before National Avocado Day — talk about the perfect timing for this unexpected collaboration. Lipotle features a peelable green colorway that reveals a new nude-pink lip stain payoff.
“With the popularity of mukbangs on social media, we noticed our fans are in need of a smudge-proof lip stain to enjoy their Chipotle on-the-go,” said Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing, Chipotle in a press release. “We teamed up with Wonderskin to create the most iconic guac and foil-inspired lip stain ahead of National Avocado Day.”
‘Lipotle’ is a cruelty-free and vegan product, aligning with Chipotle’s vision to “Cultivate a Better World” through food that is made responsibly. Also, this collaboration is special for Wonderskin since its their first ever brand collaboration since it was founded.
How to Use & Buy ‘Lipotle’
Don’t be alarmed by the bright green color of the ‘Lipotle’ Lip Stain Masque. It is only the color of the lip stain that then reveals a warm berry color. Customers need to apply the product as if it were lip gloss and wait 30 to 60 seconds. Afterward, the Wonder Blading Activator should be sprayed on top to allow the lip stain to soak in. Finally, an eye-catching natural-looking lip hue is revealed.
