Colourpop Cosmetics is kicking off the spooky season with an all-new makeup collection. And, it’s not just any average collection, it will be one inspired by a hit Netflix series that has been on air since 2016 (Hint: Think waffles and demogorgons!). The cosmetic brand announced that it will release a limited-edition Stranger Things makeup collection on September 26th, all inspired by the debut season of the beloved series. There will be lip glosses, eyeshadow palettes, and more exciting makeup goodies. Read on to learn more about this new Stranger Things collection from Colourpop Cosmetics.
How The Collab Came to Be
Stranger Things has been at the forefront of other collaborations throughout the year — such as one with the fragrance brand, Bath and Body Works. This time Colourpop Cosmetics decided to use the hit series as their muse for a new makeup collection. More specifically this collaboration will focus on the debut season of Stranger Things.
On September 23rd, Colourpop Cosmetics shared the news on their Instagram page. Their post caption read, “ColourPop X Stranger Things. 9/26/24. Over and out!”

Chapter One Eyeshadow Palette

For the main part of the entire collection, there will be an eyeshadow palette featuring 16 different shades. With season 1 being used as inspiration, this palette will have the top half dedicated to Hawkins and the bottom half dedicated to the Upside Down. There will be various colors from red to orange to glitter shades. Colourpop Cosmetics shares that these shades are ideal for “endless unreal looks, from blue smokey eyes to retro soft glam.”
Talk to Me Ultra Glossy Lip Trio

No makeup look is complete without a shiny lip look — that’s why this collection will have a Talk to Me Ultra Glossy Lip Trio. It is made with multi-chrome flakes and gives your lips a sparkly touch. There will be three colorful shades: Where Are You? (red), Right Here (yellow), and Run (blue). These are meant to resemble the iconic Christmas lights used throughout season 1 of Stranger Things.

Now that you know what’s in the collection, the next question is: When and where can I shop the Colourpop x Stranger Things makeup collection? Well, there’s no need to wait that long — the collection will be dropping on September 26th at 10AM PST (1PM EST). Next, Ulta Beauty will be another retailer selling the collection on September 27th.
