Awards season has finally kicked off with the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. We finally discovered who took home a Golden Globe. This year’s show was aired on Sunday, January 5th at 8PM on CBS and Paramount+. Comedian and actress, Nikki Glaser, debuted as host at the 82nd annual show. The Golden Globe Awards celebrates the best film and television entertainment of the year. In television, FX’s Shōgun racked up four awards while for film, Netflix’s Emilia Pérez also took home four awards. Read on to see the entire list of winners for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. 

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards is the first major show of the awards season. There were certainly strong contenders in both television and film alike. On the television side, we had shows like The BearBaby ReindeerSlow Horses, and Shogun (which took home most of the awards with a total of four). And as for the movie side, nominees included Dune: Part TwoWicked, Emilia PérezThe Brutalist, and more. Emilia Pérez was the movie that had 10 nominations and took home the most awards of the night — it won a total of 4 awards.

Other notable awards were given to actress Viola Davis and actor Ted Danson in a special segment during the show. The 2025 Cecil B. DeMille Award was given to Davis. While Ted Danson was honored with the Carol Burnett Award. Now without further ado, here is the 2025 Golden Globe winners:
