It has been over a month since pop princess Olivia Rodrigo released her 2nd album ‘GUTS’ worldwide. To keep giving fans more of her musical talent, Rodrigo has shared the news that no one was expecting. On October 18th, she revealed to her followers on Instagram that she releasing four “secret” tracks on a new vinyl record. This record will be made by Jack White’s Third Man Records.

These “secret” tracks will be released on a 12″ vinyl for Record Store Day’s Black Friday, on November 24th. On Instagram, Rodrigo shared in her post’s caption, “all 4 secret tracks from GUTS are coming to vinyl pressed exclusively by @thirdmanpressing for a limited drop on @recordstoreday black friday!!!! I’m a big @thirdmanrecords fan and I’m so stoked to have my songs on their vinyl!!!”
The new vinyl has cover art featuring two empty silhouettes of Olivia with a picture of her face placed in both of them. To continue with her iconic purple color scheme, the vinyl will be in fact in the color purple with a butterfly placed on it. The tracks that will be released on this “GUTS: the secret tracks” limited edition EP are “obsessed,” “stranger,” “scared of my guitar,” and “girl i’ve always been.”
There are no details set in place on how much this vinyl is expected to cost. Currently, fans can find her official ‘GUTS’ vinyls on her website here that cost $30 and come in red, white, blue, and purple colors. Fans are excited about this new music release but question the singer on whether she’s planning to release these tracks on streaming platforms. One fan commented, PUT THEM ON STREAMING SERVICES PLEASEEEEE” while another fan chimed in, “drop them on spotify next.” Rodrigo has not confirmed or denied if she plans to release these tracks on these platforms.
