Sabrina Carpenter Teases ‘Taste’ Music Video
With a day away from her Short N’ Sweet album to drop, Sabrina is giving her fans an exciting treat. Besides enjoying all the new songs, a new music video will be released on August 23rd. It will be a video for one of her new album’s singles, Taste.
Sabrina shared the news to her fans on an Instagram post. She shared a teaser of the music video and captioned it, “Taste! Coming this Friday 💋.” However, there is one detail that fans noticed right away — there will be another exciting celebrity cameo in this new music video.

After having her rumored actor boyfriend Barry Keoghan star in Please, Please, Please, Sabrina kept the tradition going and this time invited a fellow Gen-Z celebrity. And guess who it is! It is actress Jenna Ortega — yeah we sure didn’t have that on our 2024 bingo card.
The teaser opens with a clip showing all kinds of weapons and contraptions. Then, we see our leading lady Sabrina walk into what seems to be a mansion with a knife in hand (and she doesn’t look happy at all — seeking revenge maybe?) running up a flight of stairs. The teaser then pans to Jenna Ortega making her first appearance looking lovey-dovey with a man.
As the two are about to kiss, Sabrina opens the shower curtain and aims her knife at Jenna and the man, and the teaser switches to a black screen. We then see Sabrina again fixing her lipstick while looking at her reflection on the knife. She sings the words, “Oh, I leave quite an impression.”
Fans were excited to see Jenna’s cameo in the music video by expressing their thoughts in the Instagram comments. One user commented, “i just know this music video is going to eat.” Another user also chimed in with, “OMG !!!! was not expecting jenna ortega but amazing choice…two iconic queens.”
The Taste music video is set to drop on August 23rd.
