The Drinks

For those who were fans of last year’s menu, you’re in luck! Starbucks shared via a news article that there were classic holiday drinks set to make the menu lineup. The drinks included are the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte. More info about each of these drinks can be found here.

As for the new drinks Starbucks will be releasing — customers can try out the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai and Oleato™ Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte. The gingerbread drink (can be iced or hot) will be made with “warm gingerbread notes, a cozy blend of chai spices, and creamy oat milk,” according to the blog post.

As for the gingerbread latte, Starbucks says that the drink will include ingredients like a “blonde espresso combined with warm notes of gingerbread and steamed oat milk, infused with Partanna® extra virgin olive oil and finished with a subtle dusting of bright ginger and citrus flavors.” The Oleato™ holiday drink can be found at Starbucks locations that do in fact sell Starbucks Oleato™ beverages.

We also can’t leave out the cup designs that will be seen on these Starbucks drinks. The company’s theme for this year’s cup designs is “Share the Joy.” Kristy Cameron, creative director at Starbucks, said, “When we were looking at trends when designing this year’s holiday, we kept seeing bright, bold, uplifting colors.” All cup designs can be viewed here.

These ideas came into play on this year’s seasonal cups. These items have green and red colored undertones to celebrate the most festive holiday of the year.

The Food

Of course, no Starbucks drink can be complete without a sweet treat. So, to add to its holiday lineup, there will be different bakery items available for purchase. For peppermint lovers, there is a Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, made with chocolate cake as the base, white-chocolate frosting, and pieces of candy cane.
